Dwarka, Somnath & Diu Backpacking Trip

Day 1: Departure from Mumbai/Pune and Ahmedabad

• Board an early morning train from Pune to Mumbai if a direct train to Ahmedabad is unavailable. Choose between Sleeper Class (SL) or Second Sitting (2S), depending on availability.
• From Mumbai, board a noon train to Ahmedabad.
• On arrival in Ahmedabad, transfer to our private vehicle for an overnight journey to Dwarka.

Day 2: Discovering Dwarka and Bet Dwarka

• Early Morning Arrival:
  • Arrive near Dwarka and take a quick sunrise break at Bechtel Beach.
  • Proceed to the hotel for breakfast and freshening up.
• Morning Activities:
  • Visit Shivrajpur Beach, a Blue Flag beach known for its clear waters and beach activities.
• Afternoon Exploration:
  • Return to the hotel, check-in, have lunch, and rest.
  • Visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple.
• Evening Adventure:
  • Enjoy a scenic ride on the Signature Bridge while heading to Bet Dwarka.
  • Darshan at Bet Dwarka Temple and visit Rukmini Devi Temple on the way back.
  • Attend the evening aarti and darshan at Dwarkadhish Temple.
  • Explore Gomti Ghat, Sudama Setu, nearby temples, and the local market.
  • Dinner and rest for the night.

Day 3: Journey from Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar

• Early Morning:
  • Optional early morning temple visit.
  • Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
• En Route to Somnath:
  • Visit Mul Dwarka Temple, Jambuvan Cave, Kirti Mandir in Porbandar, and Sudama Temple.
  • Lunch break along the way.
  • Enjoy the scenic 70 km coastal highway from Porbandar to Madhavpur, with a short break at the beautiful Madhavpur Beach.
• Arrival in Somnath:
  • Check into the hotel and freshen up.
  • Visit Somnath Temple and attend the light and projection show.
  • Return to the hotel and rest for the night.

Day 4: Exploring Somnath and Diu

• Morning Activities:
  • Early morning breakfast and check-out.
  • Visit Triveni Ghat and Bhalka Tirth.
• Journey to Diu:
  • Arrive in Diu by afternoon.
  • Free time to explore Diu, including visits to Diu Fort, Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, and INS Khukri Memorial.
  • Spend the evening at Nagoa Beach, enjoying the beautiful sunset.
  • Begin the return journey with cherished memories.

Day 5: Return to Ahmedabad/Mumbai/Pune

• Early Morning:
  • Arrive in Ahmedabad and board the train back to Pune/Mumbai.
• Arrival Home:
  • Reach Pune/Mumbai by night.

Things to carry :

Mandatory Documents: Medical Certificate, Govt ID card with name and address

Pair of Clothes as per the trip.

Footwear : 

• Casual shoes and flip-flops

• A rucksack bag and a day pack
• 3-liter water bladder or water bottle

Personal Accessories

• Toothpaste, toothbrush
• Towel
• Paper soap, or sanitizer
• Sunscreen minimum of SPF40, Lip Balm, Cold Creams
• Body spray
• LED torch light

Accessories

• Raincoat/poncho: (Mandatory as per the season)
• Sunglasses
• (Sunscreen - SPF 40+, moisturizer, light towel, lip balm/chapstick, small soap, toilet paper, wet tissue)
• Cap/Hats
• Camera: Carry all accessories - spare batteries, Mobile charger / Power bank er, etc.
• Water bottles: 2 bottles, 1 Litre each.
• Plastic covers: While packing, use plastic bags to compartmentalize things and carry a few extra plastic bags for wet clothes.

Personal Medical Kit

• Mandatory. All these things need to go into one backpack. So make sure they are all light and you carry as little as possible.
• Glucose powder
• Medicines for headaches, diarrhea, motion sickness
• Dettol
• Bandages
• Cotton

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

NO REFUND SHALL BE MADE FOR THE INITIAL BOOKING AMOUNT FOR ANY CANCELLATIONS. HOWEVER IF FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE THEN,

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the trip's start date, 50% of the trip cost will be refunded within 5-7 working days.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the trip's start date, 25% of the trip cost will be refunded within 5-7 working days.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the trip's start date, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees. No refund will be processed.
• In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
• No show No Refund.
• Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
• Event Tickets can be transferred to another person against cancellation.
• If we cancel the TRIP, only the BILLING AMOUNT will be refunded, payment gateway fee is 

Trekhievers Policies:

• Seats will be reserved only after full payment.
• Fees paid are non-refundable but transferable on the same event.
• A complete schedule of the trek will be given later to registered participants
• Organizers have all the right to modify or change the schedule in case
• Organizers hold the right to cancel any event and refund with prior notice.
• We strictly follow a no alcohol, no drugs, and no litter policy.
